[Request] Cold Dreams Game Soundtrack

On the abandonia site you say that the game Cold Dreams used the Loudness Sound system.
Where are the LDS files? I see no MUSIC.DAT :(

In the Tyrian directory you can just find a music.dat, open it with game extractor, and play the LDS files with Winamp+Adplug .
But not with this game :(

Can someone please tell me how to get the music files?

Or if thats not possible, record the raw adlib data to a raw file and upload it somewhere?

I really like this game's music! Since i was a kid.

Thanks in advance!

This have nothing to do with Troubleshooting.

Moving to... Erm...

I'm going to move this thread to Favorite Oldies and Newbies. I think it is the best forum for your request. You ought to find more people to help you over there at any rate.

Cold Dreams

Lol. I'm sorry, i placed it in Music, becouse i thought that was the right section for this topic. Then someone moved it to troubleshooting.

But well...I REALLY hope someone can help me to get this soundtrack.

I love this music.

Greetings.

I assume this game is available on Abandonia? Then I suggest you post request for the .iso version on the request thread on the ISO Cellar.

no need. If a Game is available on Site, then its automatically approved for ISO CELLAR.

Uhhhhm...maybe i was not clear enough:noworry:

I have music ingame, it works perfect.

I downloaded it here

I just want to listen to the music in my free time.

But i can't record it, so my request is: Can someone record the tunes for me.
(To RAW files, or if you can't do that, MP3 files)
OR, what i would like even more:
Tell me where the adlib music is stored.

These are the music i know of:

1. Immortality Productions Tune (just the tune of immortality productions)
2. Short Credits Tune (Screen with: Music by Loudness Sound Comp. )
3. Story Tune ( Screen that explains the story, about the red planet etc )
4. Menu Tune ( Just the menu screen tune, main tune of Cold Dreams)
5. Training Level Tune (Only heard during the Training level, by selecting TRAINING in the menu)
6. World 1 Tune (Heard in EVERY level in world 1)
7. World 2 Tune (Heard in EVERY level in world 2)
8. World 3 Tune (Heard in EVERY level in world 3)
9. Short You died tune (Yeah, when you die you hear this.)
10. Game Over Tune (If you give up after you died, you get the Game Over screen and hear this tune)
11. Hall of fame Tune (Click on HISCORES in the Main Menu)

I hope i'm more clear now:whistling:

Greetings.

PS. I'm from the Netherlands so that's why my English isn't so good.

Tried the sound recording option in dosbox?
Start/stop: CTRL+F6
Saves the sound output in *.wav file.

Indeed, did a short try out on cold dreams, works fine:
http://www.4shared.com/file/14325544.../cold_002.html

TIP: adapt your 'capture' folder for dosbox to a more easily accessible path (if you're under vista be sure you -(and thus dosbox)- have write rights there....)
