This is one of the games I bought in my days. Wasn´t bad but tends to be repetitive after some gauntlets (game main mode) played. Nothing compared to WC 1 and 2, as we don´t have any storyline here.

I never liked early Wing Commander series too much (apart of Privateer, which was awesome) because I just couldn't stand bitmap spaceships. But I remember playing Wing Commander Academy quite a lot and enjoyed some of the battles I've been setting up. I've always loved to attack large Kilrathi capital ships with my Broadsword.:rocks:

I must have been some kinda freak with WC 1&2. When I was very young and computers ready to play WC´s where too expensive (i had an already old PS2 MCGA) i saw in a computer games´magazine the analysis of WC1 and I got so excited (good terms) that the game remained in my mind waiting to be gotten. Some time after, i got it in a too-expensive-3-games-pack (elite +, Megatraveler 2 and WC1) and it really worth the effort for me. I remember it as a 5/5 game, even able to change the storyline videos!

Last time I tryed it I couldn´t stand the Huge pixels, though...
