Facebook Group
 

Since the last one seems to have died, and there're more than a few people making Facebook accounts recently, I'm gonna have a try at making an AB Facebook group.

Unless someone else wants to do it..?
I think I drew the short straw, though.

I'll get on the case this evening - Pandaaa can help me as I have no idea about Facebook, really. She's a bit of an expert/addict, so she'll know.

Maybe I can get her to do it..? Or look after it or something.
She was saying she wants to be more involved with Abandonia, but doesn't have the time. (she'd better find time to finish the bloody .swf Space Invaders banner - it's been months)

I don't mind doing that but you have to give me a hand. Let me have all the images that you want to put on the group page.
Have you got them in the photobucket account or are they on you big PC's hard-drive?

It's ok, I think you can use the same logo used for LastFM or Steam.
When done I'll advertise it on main page, but I hope the leader of the group will keep it updated a bit.

Abandonia Facebook

Just a basic page - we'll make it a bit more flash sometime over the next week.
Busy moving house, don't'cha know.
Going to keep it updated daily with "Game of the Day". We're going to use the Screen-shot quiz from a day or two before as the GotD. When the screenies are back up, I can use them as thumnails for a link. Until then I'll just post 2 shout-things, so we can have a game description and a piccie AND a link (chocolate, surprise *and* a toy?!).

Also will use it as an announcement platform, so anything that's on the front-page (or twitter) that could be shouted elsewhere will get plastered up here.

Today's game is Boppin' (since it's been on the screenshot quiz twice in a week) and I'll whack _r.u.s.s' Searchbar download link in there somewhere too.
Maybe there's a way of making that sticky or putting it in the profile area..?

That searchbar isn't given enough light and water - it's so handy - we should feed it every few weeks, during the growing season, too.

I'm not sure if that's good or average or what for a facebook group... But it's a good number with which to perform simple equations.

Hopefully some of them will decide to have a look at the mothership. If they want to play Blood they will have to, I suppose.
