Fade to Black
Ok, i uploaded this one on ftp and wanted someone to write a review, but I guess I can do this too.
now: 1. Is Fade to Black abandoned? 2. Is it the first third-person 3D game ever (that would be gameplay like in Tomb Raider, I think FtB is much older) |
Sold, in cdaccess
|
1. HOTU once DID have it. I suspect it is... like what, 9 or so years old, sequel to Flashback, right (ahh, Flashback - one of my fave games ever...)? I should check my back issues of gaming mags, remember seeing something on FTB there...
2. From what do I know? YES. And definitely it's older then TR 1. |
Dam,...they ask: 15 for such an old game :not_ok:
|
Well, 10$ would probably be more fair, but for a good game, why not buy it? ;)

early third person games.. well it depends on wether you require the game to be true 3d. plenty of pre-playstation era games were third person. i, robot (arcade) is third person, and 3d. ... thats a game from 1983.
tomb raider is 43243434 times better than fade to black. f2b really disappointed me. |
Fade To Black
I remember playing a game from what I assume to be the early 90's. The game had a very primitive 3D look to it(made mostly of blocks). You have been either captured by aliens or imprisoned for something. You had to escape and to do so you had to avoid security cameras, lazers and robots. I liked this game allot so if some one could help me find out it's name I would be very happy.

mhh..some ID games like doom, quake?
|
no, it's not a first person shooter and the graphics not blocky in that sense, more like they are made out of big blocks, it looks to be a very early attempt at a 3D game. It is more of an adventure or puzzle game.

i remember playng one fps game which name was made of 4 words and first letters were definately ROTS or ROTT. but i cant remember what were the words though =/
edit: found it! http://www.mobygames.com/game-group/...e-triad-series but it doesnt look as primitive as i thought it does |
