As an innovative publicist at large, I can tell you, Having the page is okay, but actively keeping the page updated and networked among other members, is going to be MOST important.

I am a featured writer at Cnet and used MySpace, Fubar, My yearbook, Yahoo360 and Facebook, to promote Cnets secret free music link pages. It grew from unknown bands, to a place where Metallicas publicist put their latest album up at Cnet. I have about 30 gig of legal and FREE music from that site, given away by the bands themselves. The site got so big, that Cnet sold the site, to Last FM recently. The music is no longer free.

I can banner link Abandonia to all of my sites if the admins want me too, but since my sites are primarily about music, I wouldn't be able to make Abandonia my top priority. It should bring you a few 100 new members.

A presskit link at Abandonia, would be a wise decision. This way, every new member of Abandonia, would have a choice to copy/paste the code, for sig banners to Abandonia, or banner links for their websites, while providing a pre-approved banner for all to use.

Eh, I don't mind maintaining an AB facebook thingy if Swiss is incommunicado. Any excuse to avoid writing manuals :D
