I actually tried to find this game a few years back but i failed and just giveup, but after playing a few old games i thought id try searching again :laugh:

These are the things i remember on the game:

you can hunt volves/bear
it has a 2d flatform and 3d first person modes
it automatically switch to a 2d mode when you encounter animals or other humans
you can tame other tribesman/woman if you have a high charisma/beauty?(i think you have to say good things to them)
you can tame a volf by feeding him some meat
i remember you can trade some wolf/bear fangs for a wolf/bear necklace on one of the tribes?
there is rain effects and when it rains you can stock up on water
if you find a flint stone you can make a spear by chipping the flint into a spearhead shape


i remember this was my favorite game so If anybody could tell me the name of this game, or if you remember playing this game, please help me out here :confused:

oh.. and about the 2d part, you can't jump or anything but you can swing your weapon or throw your spear as far as i can remember, and you can only move forward or back to the next screen (hope this helps:wondering:)

can i request the full Sapiens game, it was copyrighted 1986-2005 so i think it should be unprotected and abandoned by now :amused:

i remember playng simmilar game, just with better hand drawn kinda hi-res graphics, it was run in a window. does anybody know what's the name of that one?

Merged the two threads. Why didn't you ask at the old one?

Sapiens is sold at the official site of Myriad Software. And yes, I know it's a newer, graphically not comparable version. The only remaining chance is to ask for permission for the old one.

kinda knew this would happen when i saw the 2.4.1 version one, but meh! can't blame me for trying ^__^!

hope we get permission for the old DOS one at least...

and sorry I thought the other thread was just for asking unknown question and this ones for requesting games to be put on :confused:
