Can't remember old game
I'm struggling to remember this old game where you control a tank (or something like that, can't remember :) ) driving through a futuristic city in first person perspective, blasting enemy vehicles and aircraft. IIRC there were no textures, buildings all looked blue/greyish etc... Sorry I can't really remember anything more specific about it.
Any suggestions are welcome :) |
sounds like a bit out of the film Tron...

Heh no it definately wasn't based on tron. :) Anyway my brother seemed to remember the name containing the word 'steel'. Though again, can't be sure.
Btw while I'm at it, I've got another obscure game, it was a 3d version of Tankkk: you control a tank (again :) ) in fps perspective driving through a maze hunting down the other player(s). Shots bounced off of walls and tanks turned painfully slow. It featured crappy graphics but it was sorta fun in hotseat. I remember it was named 'offensive' but searching for that name didn't yield anything but 'the ardennes offensive' game and the ww2 strategy game that is on this site too, so I could be wrong. The game itself was in finnish or hungarian or something (I guess finnish as I got it from a very obscure geocities page that also had Operation Cleaner, which is also finnish) If anyone knows where to find it I'd be very grateful :) (wish finnishgames.com was still up :( ) |
Steel Thunder maybe?
|
No it was a tad newer, and the setting was in the future. And it wasn't a simulation but rather an arcade tank game, kinda like shellshock :)
Thx for the replies all though! |
Ah we found it, it's Metal Rage, by Titus. Thx for the help and if anyone finds that other game I'm talking about please do let me know :)
Peace |
