Iron Seed
 

Iron Seed is a strategy game that's difficult to describe, but it is a spaceship game where you get to build your stuff or barter for it.

I'm not sure that Ironseed counts as abandonware. The current owners don't sell it, but they do provide downloads, support, and occasional patches/updates.

Great game, though. Especially once it's patched up to 'playable' status.

There is also a full game download link, perhaps it's Freeware.

Well, they're apparently offering it as a free download on there, so I don't suppose they'd say no if Abandonia offered to host a mirror. Not really in our mandate, though.

In this case there's Abandonia Reloaded, it deals with Freeware games :)

Thanks, I have the demo and it isn't a whole lot of fun but the full version probably will be.

From my research, this one has been a commercial title at some point before being released as freeware.
