Old packard bell software

Hi all, I am working on my old Packard bell computer (for the fun of it) and was wondering if some one had the the old Packard bell navigator that they give me and let me use. I remember that it let you explore a whole house. I would also love it if someone also had those old games that went with it to like rodents revenge and rattlers race and I remember a lot more just not there names. I really love my old Packard bell and I am still in tears after the hard drive crashed. So what I am really trying to do is re-assemble it, find and add all the old games and apps. So thank you any one who can help!

How old is the Packard Bell in question? I have a fairly ancient PB laptop (monochrome monitor, came with windows 3.11 installed) in the basement, guess I could have a look and see if any of the floppies that came with it still exists.

I have an old Packard Bell Pentium 200MHz with MMX. It came with 4.9GB hard disk and 32MB memory, but I didn't get those games nor that software you mentioned.

I did get great voice answering software, but my CD is in very bad shape, that I can't install it.

That software allowed to create voice mail options like press 1 to get this voice box etc. If I have it I most likely would run that computer just to use it as voice mail box.

I still have the install CDs from my defunct PB P2/400.
Its 3 CDs, 'Master CD' they called them.
3 CDs for W98SE and a whole lot of PB crap, pffff.

Guess I could look one day if it's possible to rip the navigator and some of those games of them.
Must have some flops also with extra software, electronic hardware biblio and such.
But don't hold your breath, won't be soon I'll find enough time for that, sorry.

My my, W98SE - 3 CDs! ...... djees. No wonder it was my first and last brand PC.

LOL

So place CD1 to boot up, and then CD2 to start installation.. etc? :)

Or is it more likely to have all preinstalled stuff, plus stand alone CD for windows. :)

Just taken a look, forget it.
Bootflop is non-readable anymore, and on the CDs a whole lot of backup files in *.cab format, but it ain't the normal cab files it seems, can't open them, must be a PB archive format. I think the unarchiver is on the bootflop.
It ain't install CDs, only a set of full system restore backup ones.
OEM brand crap.
Can't help you, sorry.

Linea directa -> trash bin.

Games like Rodent Revenge and the like are not abandonware. They have been requested a few times already in the past and I think they are sold together in some kind of Microsoft Entertainment Pack. If you can't find them again in your CDs, I fear we won't be able to help you much with those.

Packard Bell's restore disks works only on Packard Bell's computers, so I don't see a problem with that, if his OEM stuff is lost.

So, would that be against 'rules'?

Company does not exists long time now, so he can't get them from them.

There is a clone of that game.
