Well dis piece of spyware just disabled control panel and I don't know if I should fiddle with SpyBot...

"Fiddle with Spybot"? Like, installing and running? I really recommend Spybot Search & Destroy, it really is a neat piece of software. Problem is, your machine should be clean of any dirt before installing SBS&D. There are on-line scans, but I'm not that familiar with them. Perhaps someone else here know more about them.

Thing is, SBS&D can also keep a back-up of your registry, and if that registry is already dirty, then a back-up is no good.

what about clean first, then make a registry backup? :D

I'd also use ad aware in combination with spybot s&d, because what the first won't find the second one will and vice versa.

Spybot deleted all (almost) entries. MyWebSearch toolbar was gone and that was enough to get me free 1 and a half hour on the PC rental.

i believe the mywebsearch thing is a smitfraud adware. Google smitfraud
