A topic about a game that has been in development hell for over ten years. According to 3D Realms, theyre now really getting it finished.

I hope so. Im a huge Duke fan and when Its out, I will immediatly buy it. No matter what the reviews say....

..gee. I just realized that their Ultimate ten year hype has effected on me!

They might even manage it to release the game though I doubt it, but if they do I doubt the resonance will be all that great. Who believes today yet that they'll ever finish it? Few, to say the least. A game developed for ten years, LOL.

well they said the same thing few years ago. and before.. year ago, and another year ago..

but even if it was released, you know, the higher expectations, the bigger dissapointment. the game would be pretty cool few years ago but i think that with todays concurence it wont be that good.
the real thing which will make some cash for 3d realms are the fans.

I think that Duke Nukem Forever will be in the pipeline - forever.

I think it could be a difficult challenge for 3d realms, now there's too much competition in fps genre...(Far Cry,Doom,Quake,Fear,Stalker...and many others)
You know...pigs aren't so original as ten years ago...but I have to admit It was very cool at the time! ^_^

How long have they been delaying it now?

About ten years, give or take.
