why do so many people hate it? It my fav type of food though sadly its an expensive type. I love takin gulps of wassabi and starting to cry due to how hot the stuff is. Friend of mine told me people think Sushi is Sashimi which is slices of raw fish. Suchi does not necessarly have to have raw fish. It can have stuff like crab or veggies.

I don't mind it. Tried it for the first time about a month ago, haven't tried it since, but I liked it. But that wassabi tastes disgusting, and its very hot, but mainly disgusting.

A lot of people dislike Japanese food in general. I rather like it.

I never tried it. I like to think I hate it, so I'll have a strong emotion when I'll try it for the first time.

i personally love it. as for raw fish, some of the best sushi is just rice and vegetables with special ingredients. wasahabi is gorgeous

Havent actually tried sushi yet, but there are some other (non-japanesee) speciality that also include raw fish and I like them. But like in many other things - it's a matter of taste - so don't be aginst it until you try it!!!
