i just watched it and it was pretty good as a film. i haven't read the manga or watched the anime yet so i can't judge accuracy yet. i warn you though, if you want to get it, it's japanese only (i watched with english subs so i understood what was going on :) hoping to get the mangas and the anime series though.

I'm going to watch the anime... Sooner or later.

at this point in time, i'm reading the manga and have finished watching the anime and both movies... madhouse did a good job on the anime but whoever did the movie screwed up the storyline.
