I played a demo of this game years ago on a PCFormat CD of my brother's. It was a sort of arena combat game, in, as I recall, small vehicles (not robots). In trying to remember the name, I keep thinking of the word Scarab, but I'm sure it wasn't S.C.A.R.A.B and I don't think it had the word Scarab in the title. It may, however, have had some sort of Scarab related reference in it. I just remember racing around this arena shooting other vehicles, and I remember it had a weird sort of atmosphere like a lot of games around this time did. No music, weird imagery, and so on. Not weird as in freakish, just....slightly odd. Any ideas?

Well, Rock'n'Roll racing was fomous for their music, but is it that kind of game?
|
No, definitely not. I remember the view was from close behind the vehicle and the graphics were 3D. It's not that old, compared to a lot of games on AB, I'd say it was about...'97, '98 maybe?

More like "Destruction Derby"?
|
Maybe "Sand Warriors"?

No, that's not it. Like I said, third person, uh, vehicle, camera view. I think it was set in a sort of dark future (ravaged by war, etc). Sorry I'm being so vague here.
