Title says it all really. What's your favourite music from computer games?
I've always been a big fan of the music from the Final Fantasy series, you can go all the way back to final fantasy I and there's great tunes in all of them, it's also interesting how some of the newer games have music that contains elements of music from the older ones. Commander Keen 4 had some awesome music too! Anyways, yeah. ^_^ |
I find the Morrowind sound track rather nice although a bit repetitive. Usually, I find the fantasy games have the coolest sound track, the stuff you hear on them FPS are really not my cup of tea.
But of course: Any Star Wars game have the coolest music EVER... by definition! :kosta: |
Yeah, I love the Morrowind soundtrack too, but it does get repetitive after you've played it for a few months, I think there was 3 different songs or something :P
*sings Star Wars theme* Da.. na.. da na na naaaaa na.... |
Hmm.. this is about thousandth post about gamemusic..... BUT, I must answer one again. :) Here are some of the most enjoyable soundtracks in my opinion:
Hitman 2: silent assassin Freedom Fighters Diablo 2 and Lord of destruction VtM: Bloodlines VtM: Redemption Deus Ex Fallout 1/2 Quake Quake 2 |
Deus Ex, specifically the UNATCO music... nice...
And the Homeworld Series, and Grim Fandango as well. |
Monkey Island! :wallbash: How could I forget??!! :tai: Probably because I haven't played those in ages. But they have the overall best (most fitting) soundtrack on any game. It is pure genius, and catchy as an STD.

Hm... Legend of Kyrandia had nice music, matching the game PURRRfectly... :ok:
|
conker's bad fur day/conker: live and reloaded.
(Especially Rock Solid - Best bit of dance music from a game :P) |
Rise of the Triad
Jets'n'Guns (because Machinae Supremacy did most of it) |
Hmm... that's a difficult one, seeing as my game music archive reaches about a hundred titles by now.
