hey guys. what do you think of the whole guild wars thing? i, personally, have an unhealthy addiction to the game, but i dont care.

I never played it. It doesn't make that much sense to play without being in a guild, and I don't like to be in a guild / clan in online games.

seems like a topic for the multiplayer section?=P

Granted, should be moved to the Multiplayer section.

My point: MMO games are dangerous to your health, bank balance and social life. I was addicted once (Anarchy Online and LineageII), but fortunatly I was able to quit, just in time. I advise the same. Nothing can beat a cool offline or lan game. :ok:

My friend play's it, and he says that its better than WoW

played it for a while. It was nice.

Anarchy Online can be played for free so that shouldn't be any threat to your bank balance (social life and health I concur :D)

But Guild Wars doesn't have a monthly fee, so it won't reallu threaten you cash-flow much. And, from the video reviews on Game Spot, I'd say it's pretty nifty. I might even buy it when I finish Oblivion... :whistle:
