The best WW1 fighter simulation. Played it hours and hours.

Btw, I would like to see another formulation of the news post. "Blow the crap out of the German's " sounds a bit poor for my (german) taste.

Greetings...

Btw, how does this one compares to "Red Baron"?

Is that With the 6 last Copies and the Abandonware Status true or just some lunatic Joke?

Tom Henrik 18-06-2006 10:22 PM

That is true. There are six copies left. Once those are bought, there are no more sold versions of this game - and it is thus abandoned, until someone decides they want to sell it again.

As the AW list clearly states copyright status changes on a daily basis.

Hopefully, it doesn't take to long till someone buys them...can't wait for this one!

Um... I tought air war started in WW2 not in WW1... because the technology in WW1 was on lower level than in WW2.

The first war with air dog fights was WWI. The Red Baron by WWII planes hit a whole notehr level.

No, there were dogfights in world war one. They didn't really happen unti 1916, when machine guns were syncronised with propellers, before that the pilots would shoot at each other with pistols or rifles when they were in the air.

They were pretty rare, but dogfights in the Great War did exist.
