error: PCI device detect failed; Device not found
Creative SB16 Emulation Driver NOT Loading

Anyone had this error msg before and know the solution?

Do you have a soundcard in any PCI ports or is it inbuilt in the Motherboard?

This error message doesn't tell me much. What are you trying to do exactly when you get it?

You must only have onboard sound then or it is not soundblaster compatible
