I had this terrible nightmare a week ago. Its so horrible.
I was lying on my bed and I looked trought a window. The sky was red, tree's were burning and there were graves and white crosses on my backyard. Then, when I looked into horizon, I saw something dropping from the sky. Possibly meteors or missile's. The missile/meteor shower came closer and closer, but when it was just about to hit me, I saw a golden cross floating above me. I grabbed it and *bam*, dream over man. Horrible, just horrible... |

Did you see the tall man as well?!?!? :hairpull: |
Yeah, that does sound creepily similar to the flipped world in Trilby's Notes. Which would definitely define the dream that The Chosen had as very, very, nasty.
There seems to be alot of Christian imagery in that nightmare of yours, but I'm no Sigmund Freud so what would I know ;) I hope you have better sleeps in the evenings to come! |
Sounds like you dreamed it yourself. ;)
No offence. Most people don't remember their nightmares in such a details. Not even nightmares - just simple dreams. |
Perhaps. Although I can still remember a recurring nightmare that I used to have when I was about 10 years old - and that was 16 years ago now. Admittedly I did have the dream more than once (perhaps much more - I don't really recall) so it's probably easier for me to remember it after all this time. However, what I really don't understand is why, after all this time, I can remember that nasty nightmare in full and vivid detail but I cannot for the life of me remember my own mobile phone number when someone asks for it.
Ach! The mystery that is our mind :) |

I don't always remember my dreams or nightmares, but the nastier ones have a tendency to remain vivid for a long time. Dreaming your own death isn't a pleasant thing.

I had a recurring nightmare in that I was screaming and screaming and screaming and nobody could hear me. So I screamed even louder. Apparently, somebody had "muted" me. |
