Solution: Buy a old 286 from a antique shop :P - No really, i believe that this is the best option ( if, of course, it can be found ). I would really want to have a old 286 a 386 just for these old games.

I have an old P133 but I gave that to my sister so she could have a computer to write reports on and such. When she gets a better one I want that one back. That can play Privateer II the way it was supposed to. Rather I would have a way of playing it on this computer. It saves on the hassle.

3 years ago i selled to a student my old 486dx... i should never had done that.. i have regreted it a lot ( as i should never had selled my Amiga 500 ... another big mistake :) )

Seriously.. i have 16 486-DX33's @ home... just no motherboards... (also about 200 MB worth of SIMM-modules, along with 10 90-160 MB HD's)
MUHAHAHAHA!!! erhm.... anyone got an old motherboard? |
The only computer I ever sold was my first PC a 25mhz 486. I have not regreted that for a second. My P133 could do everything that thing could and could do it better. Right now I'm waiting to buy a new AMD64. Once the 939 pins motherboards and chipsets are on the market and decently priced I will buy it. I'm getting tired of this Athlon 900mhz. It's not even XP. Well this is getting a little of topic now.

old motherboards.. old motherboards..
inventory: 2 old, grime(and possibly some spilt drink) covered keyboards.. 1 nice keyboard 1 normal mouse 1 wireless mouse + recharger 1 joystick (collecting dust as the game I used it for crashes now) 1 xtra fast PC 1 super-backup baterry system(UPS?) 1 Large just-in-case the type they use in offices fan(use this in the summer, even with the PC's 3 fans it overheats) 1 250mb Zip drive 1 HP Deskjet 895Cxi printer 1 HP Scanjet 6200C 1 22-inch monitor Piles of old PC stuff(Fans, power supply,cd drives x 2 and allot of cables) no motherboards. sorry. Just 1 really good PC |
My brother also collects the old stuff. I have what I need and I don't keep anything old I don't need. Really what would I want with an old 266mhz PII? Sure I could play some old games on it but that's it. I don't have the room to keep it standing anyway. I just want my P133 back so I can play Privateer II again. That's it. The rest I will either sell or give away.
