AFAIK, it never was for download in the first place.
And this site is not your game buffet. :angry: Reviews are a much more important part then downloads.

Well, I was the one who removed the download link, as I was unsure about the game's status (as I could find absolutely no info about it).

But after listening to many people, it has become clear that VR Soccer '96 was an alternative name for Actua Soccer.

Actua Soccer is abandoned, and I have made the appropriate edits.

I remember the days when I played that game. My friends shook their heads when I wanted to play this game since it was already crappy those days :D :D :D
I know it as Actua Soccer on the Sega Saturn. I think I'm gonna it! It's quite difficult and the goals and the goalies are handball-like.

Hmm. when i try to run it in any way it gives me an error message that the data cannot be found. When i use dosbox to run vrsccr96.exe, that happens.

if i use the various .bat files, the whole game just doesn't start
