I've heard of the Mario ones for some time now and have always been curious of them. Thanks for getting some of them, guys!

Hello friends, I'm really happy to have found a place that archives these old Nintendo game books.

I have one of the adventure books that doesn't appear to be archived yet and am looking to see if you're interested:

I got it from a garage sale when I was like 8 and for being almost 30 years old I like to think its in pretty good condition. A couple of the puzzles were attempted at being solved with pencil crayon but other than that all the pages are still in tact and there is is no major damage.

Smiling Spectre 19-06-2019 09:24 AM

We are interested. But so far (in last five years or so) no one returned after my "yes". *shrug* Waiting! :)

Do not worry friends, I am still here!

I'd like to know your preference. Do you prefer scanning the book yourself or would you like me to scan it and just send the PDF? If the latter, what methods/software would you recommend. I have access to a flatbed scanner at work.

Smiling Spectre 20-06-2019 07:36 AM

PDF or PNG scan is enough, thank you.

Syaxamaphone 23-06-2019 12:28 AM

I'll try to scan it as best I can after the weekend. Hopefully I'll have something for you soon!

*waves and smiles*

I guess now, it's a some sort of curse.

I'M SORRY! I'm still here just dumb and slow!

Long story short I'm suddenly moving to another country and have had a very short time to prepare.

I'll try to do it very soon!

Smiling Spectre 11-07-2019 06:16 AM

See? Curse in work! :D

Syaxamaphone 18-07-2019 02:35 AM

Just a quick update, I've got about 50 pages to go and my scans will be done! I'll post the PDF on Friday!

Smiling Spectre 18-07-2019 06:03 AM

Wow, you are awesome!

Syaxamaphone 18-07-2019 06:44 AM

Aside from a few small tears and folds, the book is in really good shape! Every page is readable but a couple of the puzzles have been solved in pen.

As long as nobody was raring to go at the word search, it should still be fine I think.

In the words of the big man himself, "Here we go!"

Smiling Spectre 20-07-2019 01:28 PM

You are great!

Japo, can you upload it?

Thanks for the feedback! I was a little worried about the quality as this is my first time doing this.

Hey...

I've just read through this thread. I have to figure out how these are put into the website (I think Horseman or Dave set it up), and find time to do it.

Feel free to ping me by PM if I don't get to it in a week or two.

@Syaxamaphone many thanks!

:umm: I thought you would use / write the word poke... :poke2: Bonk! Bonk! :whistling:

Japo 31-07-2019 07:07 PM

BTW I have now an urgent personal business (not a bad one don't worry) that I need to sort out in the coming week(s) so I won't be able to work on publishing anything.

After I'm done I'll check back, and do it unless Spectre or Marko or anyone picks it up :p

kemo 27-11-2019 01:50 PM

Pretty slick... I forgot all about these. The only one I had was Koopa Capers. Good times!

Syaxamaphone 25-11-2020 12:22 AM

Just following up on the progress of this being uploaded. It would be great to have this book available to the general public.

The original download URL I posted is still live:

Japo, it's the question for you! ;)

Oooh, sorry to post in a two-year-old thread, but I had one of these! I think it was basketball-themed.

Smiling Spectre 11-03-2022 05:13 PM

Hi, GreenBanana. I fear, it's too late for this site, unfortunately.

Try to upload scans on Archive.org maybe? There someone, somewhen will get them. Hopefully.
