Terminator, The - Future Shock [Bethesda]

I remember playing some games in the 90's which featured you playing as a soldier in the war against Skynet. I think the producers were Bethesda, but I'm not sure...

Ring any bells? It was a first person shooter kind of game and I believe there were sequals.

I didn't find Bethesda among the "ESA companies" so I decided to post :angel:

Could it be Terminator: Future Shock? It isn't sold at chips'n'bits, but that's as far as I looked. I think they have it at HOTU.

Hmm, I just checked HOTU, and it seems they've removed the download link, probably due to a request from Bethesda, so I'm not sure it'd be a good idea to put it on abandonia.

You're probably looking for one of the Terminator games liested over here.

That would be Future Shock. Skynet was the sequel. :)

Yup Future Shock it was. Thanks. I don't think I'll contact Bethesda for it, it was just my little nostalgia nerve that woke up.

Terminator - Future Shock [Bethesda]

I'm new [first post after reading all I could find here so please don't shoot me!]

I posted Bethesda about both these titles and have an email back from them saying the following:

==================================
Both of those are extremely old MS_DOS titles, and they have been out of print for years.

That title is discontinued and is no longer in print, and copies or replacement media or materials (manual, technical supplements, keyboard overlays, player aid cards), are no longer available. Your best bet is to check in the bargain bins of local software stores for copies of the older titles, or check on the Internet for online stores that may still have copies of the game in inventory. You might also try posting a "wanted to buy" message in one of the many games newsgroups on the internet, to see if someone has a copy of the game they would be willing to part with.
===================================

If this makes them abandonware, could we please have them?

From HOTU: "We have been requested by Bethesda Softworks to remove the download of this game. Please contact the company directly if you would like to obtain this game."

That's the thing with Bethesda. They don't like people giving out copies of their "extremely old" out-of-print games for free. I'm fairly sure they'd tell Abandonia the same thing.
