I once found a weird bug in this game. I made a LOT of money, and suddenly my account got negated. So my amount of money went from a very high sum, to a very high debt. :blink:

I solved it by loading my last saved game, and build a lot of tunnels and other expensive stuff, so my money never got to the turn arround amount. :sneaky:

Yes, that is a quite famous error in the way the game handles numbers. If a number gets too high it turns negative, this can be used to your advantage by building a tunnel from one side of the map to another and getting rich quick :sneaky:

Transport Tycoon Deluxe can be installed under XP with this Patch: www.ttdpatch.net. It also has features the Game missed before. No Emulator is needed with the Patch. I also recommend the DB Set and all the other Stuff you can use with the Patch.

Transport tycoon is not only about trains. In transport tycoon you can also use busses, planes and ships. One of the games I have used most time on in my life, is Railroad Tycoon 1, and I liked this game very much. There are some flaws in the game, there is no doubt about that, but overall it's a cool game.

BTW I played railroad tycoon II also, which I also think is pretty good. :ok:

Transport Tycoon best way to make cash fast at the beginning is undoubly going railroad.

The first few games I played I used mainly road trucks and transport, but it was extremely slow to improve the cash balance. Was very interesting for me tough.
