[kryt3n] Eco Phantoms
So, sometime ago, like 3 years, I saw a game on abandonia, or a similar web-page of old games, but I didn't mind it much a the time, just thought the concept was cool. The problem is i have gone through the adventure section in the past 3 days some 10 times checking every game, and I just can't find it
The story was basically that you where a human, I think one of the last of them, and when you came to earth you find aliens sucking the oxygen (or it was already dry), there was a mothership of some sorts, and you get captured. You somehow steal some ship from the mothership and try to save earth (or what remains of it). The plot may vary, that is what i can remember from the top of my head. I remember however, that the view was in first person, and you were inside the ship you stealed, so you could see the ship controls. Also almost everything was brown. at least the ships were. Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance! |
That actually sounds (story) a bit like Arcticfox, but that's not an adventure game. If you're sure it's an adventure game, you might want to check Alien Virus or Mission Critical. It's a long shot but worth a check.

It's not artifox, nor alien virus or mission critical.
It was worth a try, thanks. If it helps, I remember the HUD being a mix of Inca and Azrael's Tear. Thanks again. |
MDK?
|
No, like I said, it was more like an adventure type of game, but thanks anyway

My tip is:
Alien carnage - Halloween Harry |
Maybe Midwinter?
|
Dune?
|
Although Midwinter is a little like it, it's not an accion game.
Is not Alien carnage, that seems like a 2d game. Dune is not the one, but the color scheme (brownish colours) is a lot like it. Thanks again to all the people trying to help me find this! |
Any chance it was The Arrival? I realize it clashes with several of the details you give, and a movie game (no matter how low-profile) seems an odd fit, but I just want to get that guess out of the way.
If it's not the case, how does The Arrival compare in terms of appearance? Do you think the game you were thinking of was more or less advanced? |
The current time is 12:27 PM (GMT) |
