Commandos 1 - Behind Enemy Lines [SOLD]

Hello there,

I have been looking for a lost favorite game of mine for quite a while, but unfortunately I don't remember the title - can anyone help me please?

Period of publishing: Around the same time as Cannon Fodder (around 1994)
Type of game: Action

A short description of the game:

The gameplay takes place in the 2nd World War, and you control 3-5 soldiers/agents in various German territories to perform sabotage, free prisoners etc. There are many different missions in the game, and to complete these you have to be sneaky and sometimes lucky to eg. steal a German Officer uniform or perform sneak attacks on guards to avoid being caught by the Germans. The game interface perspective is almost the same as that in Cannon Fodder (top-down view), but I remember the graphics to be nicer (that's how you always remember it ;).

It was a great game with a thought-through gameplay and many hours of nail-biting and fun.

I sure hope that someone knows what I am searching for...

Sounds like one of the Commandos games to me. But the first one is ESA protected, and the second and third games are sold.

Sorry, OT here. But it reminds me of a game I played in 1991, which is Special Forces.

That Microprose game was great IMHO. I needed to use joystick to play it properly, and I could not finish some of the missions, but still it was a nice experience :ok:

I don't think it is the game you're looking for, and even if it is it will be ESA-protected since it is made by Microprose. So, sorry again for being OT here ^_^

Special Forces is safe to host. Microprose follows a 10 year rule, and 1992 is more than 10 years ago :ok:

Commandos 2 is brilliant. I played the C3 demo and thought it was crap so I didn't buy it. They changed the UI and probably other stuff, so play Commandos 2 first.

The new FPS Commandos game is also crap, so don't even buy that.
