Batman Forever CD + Manual

Hello, fellow abandonians,

Just to clarify things right off the bat. This is the Mortal Kombat-esque game that was repackaged as a Batman game, not the arcade one.

I recently found this game in an old box on my uncle's house (who originally bought the game), and then managed to locate the multilanguage manual in a chest in my house.

Since this game is so hard to come by, not to mention that the ripped version you host cannot be played and that the manual you host is the one from the Arcade version, I decided to share this with you.

According to this, the game is good to upload.

TL;DR:

Batman Forever, the fighting game. Offer a copy of the CD image + scan of original multilingual manual.

Very interesting. Also, arcade manual shouldn't be in extras since it is not the same game, obviously...

OK, so you talk about this game right? I thought it was side scrolling, not exactly like Mortal Kombat, but yeah, fight could be seen similar to MK in idea...

Anyway, we welcome any new material naturally. I'll sent you PM right away for uploading manual.

As for CD image, how big is it? If it is too big, then it is better to upload it on some hosting site (like 4shared for example) and provide a link and some info. You can post the link in this topic in ISO Cellar, and here is the example of arcade image download. We only need basic info like the size and image type.

We tend to host the archives that can run as simply as possible. Like unzip, start Dosbox, play, so hosting the image as direct download might not be best idea. What is wrong with current ripped version anyway?

Sorry about all these questions, I just want to understand the problem better. And yes, thank you for contributing :)

Yup, that's the one. I call it Mortal Kombat Batman because Acclaim released the console ports of MK games, which where the ones I could get a hold on.

About the ripped version (at least for me), it always hangs when loading, leaving a bunch of pixelated artifacts on the screen and doing nothing. Guess it has to do with the cinematics or the CD tracks...

I'm currently scanning the manual, let's see if I can upload it tonight or tomorrow. As for the CD, is a bin/cue duo with a grand total size of 466 MB. The big question now is where could I upload that beast...

Well, after megaupload closed, I see 4shared is mostly used in ICO Cellar. You do have to create account there, but it is free and provides some free space. Perhaps you need to break down the image to pieces, perhaps not - not sure. At first I didn't like this account thing, but later I realized it is not that bad, as it keeps the file for a long time, so yeah.
