I have a problem starting the game.I've adjusted the colors to 256 but still get the message:

X This application has failed to start because WING32.dll was not found.Re-installing the application may fix this problem.

Any ideas?

Idus 10-10-2006 05:57 AM

I got the same problem, anyone can tell me how to run it?

ginho 10-10-2006 08:37 AM

you have a folder with file .dll is in the game.you have to copy this file to a sub-folder of your windows .I think it was a folder with the name system or system32.

Guest 10-10-2006 12:29 PM

It worked.Thnx...

manthas 11-10-2006 05:53 AM

that works good here. tnx to ginho!

Nosmo 11-10-2006 04:08 PM

I love this game....,

Infact i still got mt orignal CD.

I usally perfer play a smaller team instead of the biggies, more fun
i also like to hire the lady drivers. Sometimes they even finish the race

MgAquiles 12-10-2006 03:32 PM

Anyway... dll's files can easily find in www.dll-files.com.

:ok:

The Fifth Horseman 13-10-2006 01:43 PM

Try using the compatibility modes.

Right-click on the game executable -> [PROPERTIES] -> [COMPATIBILITY]

Set to Windows 95, 640x480, 256 colors.

ginho 13-10-2006 02:48 PM

This game is kinda confusing. Maybe you can help me with the windtunnel - when I put my car in windtunnel and put f/r wing to zero - i get the best speed possibly in corners! hmm that is not right, unless this refer to the speed at which the car flies off the track.

Anyone know how to use windtunnel?

Guest 14-10-2006 11:46 AM

This game is a little confusing. I'm really really bad at it. Took the easiest setting and took Williams, who in reality finished that championship in 1st and 2nd.
Race 1 - Hill crashes out of lead. Villeneuve (or whatever he's called in this) crashes out of 3rd and breaks his leg. Hill gets the sniffles and will miss the next race.
Race 2 - One car as it won't let me have 4 drivers and 2 are injured. Boullion crashes repeatedly and fails to qualify.
Race 3 - Boullion for some reason allowed to start 15th despite being caught using traction control, banned in '96. He promptly crashes in the race. Hill's tyre explodes while leading the race.
I think I might start again.

If I could find my original copy I'd scan the manual. But it's really not all that different from GPM1. A few improvments here and there.

there is no sound in the game... HELP!!!

Dark Templar 02-11-2006 08:36 AM

This game IS really hard even though I chose the easiest level and the best team. I first tried with easiest level and taken Tsunami as a team and altered with the drivers' abilities a bit, it doesn't seem to work. I do all the necessary tinkering with the car but they just keep on going off the track or having major problems. Also changed Tsunami team's engine with Lamborghini or Renault but the drivers are still too slow (I say "step on it" but I think they just keep on stepping on the break)

Although the game looks real good so someone who got the hang of this game, please help :sos:

I've given up for that reason. It's not just a problem with the fictitious Tsunami, it's pretty impossible to finish a race whatever your team even after the patch. I got half the way through a season as Williams with Hill and Villeneuve (Newhouse???) having scored a grand total of 6 points. Even in Williams' current form that's bad, in 96 they ran away with the championship.
The game's a nice idea, but it's just like nobody bothered test it for more than a couple of hours before releasing it, and the patch only solves the electronics problem, not the Hill spinning off in every single practice session problem, or being inexplicably reduced to 1 car for the race even though both qualified.

I love management games but just canīt get this one to work...

get the best car config, and cannot finish a race... its frustrating...

The Fifth Horseman 08-03-2007 03:22 PM

There have been certain connection problems recently, and Abandonia is currently in the middle of moving to a new server. Downloads should work correctly if you use a download manager.

A directory with the neccesary DLLs comes in the game archive as far as I know.

And it's not named .dll. It contains several files with extension of DLL in it.

kn0bi 15-07-2007 03:37 AM

wow. this game is great. theres just one flaw: i tried beating it for 2 days now, until i realised its impossible.

1) one day without help. no win, no point.

2) then: ok, lets read the faq. no win, no point.

3) ok, as described earlier here maybe im to dumb to handle all that race thing so lets stay out of it and let it just be calculated. no win.

4) ok, instead of going testting lets just load the optimized xxx.csu files for each race

i didnt win a single race. ever. i didnt even win a single point. regardless of difficulty / team / car / custom imba settings everything to 5 stars.

now i tried cheating :titan:
i pick schumi, boost him the 2 missing points in luck&exp, make the engine 5 stars. get myself some extra $$$. then i hire 50 des, eng and mecs coming with me to the race (does it actually do something?!?), all best parts, all aids lvl10.

guess what: i get the pole with 20 (!!!!!) seconds ahead. so far so good.
but then i finish the race 9th (!!!!!) with -2 laps.

i tried this several times, it was no bad luck. custom race, calculated race, many stops, some stops, no stops whatever....
i just never get to win any race.

i tried 1.02 and 1.02b.

anyone got any idea ?

For those with dll problem :

When you install game on your HD there is directory (c:\games\grand prix manager2\system) .. from system copy all dll files to c:\your windows directory\system32. That should solve.

For those with sound problem :

Some onboard sound cards do not work. Try to install older drivers.

dosraider 30-10-2007 03:51 PM

You have TWO VPCs:
a 32 bit and a 64 bit.
Choose the right one.
VPC download, scroll down for 32-64 bit choice.

Guest_Mike_* 30-10-2007 04:20 PM

It keeps asking for a boot disk. What do i do in this situation?

dosraider 30-10-2007 04:28 PM

A bootdisk?
GP2?
Oh!!! That shameless @#@#@@##.

Wait a sec ...... *ponders* .....
Ow ...VPC is asking for a bootdisk .... <_<
Of course, as VPC is a 'naked' PC in your PC, you will need to install an OS in it.
What you have now is an empty VHD (VirtualHardDisk), so VPC can't boot in it.

What you do is this:
Get
or a W95 CD
or a W98 CD
and install that OS in VPC.
Run VPC with that OS in it and install GP2 in it.
Play GP2 in VPC.

Mighty Midget 08-11-2007 01:28 PM

Post 67 may have the answer ;)

http://www.abandonia.com/forum/index.php?s...st&p=305853

Guest 08-11-2007 01:29 PM

I've seen that post, but I'm a slight thicko when it comes to things like this.

I've found the file, and I realise it has to go in another file, but where can that be found?

Bushy 08-11-2007 01:33 PM

I click on the main icon to start the game running and it says:

When I click the icon to start the game it says:

This application has failed to start because WING32.dll was not found.

I've found that file in a folder called SYSTEM.

Mighty Midget 08-11-2007 01:33 PM

No, you don't copy a file into another file. Simply locate the
grand prix manager2\system folder where you installed the game then copy all dll files in that sytem folder to c:\your windows directory\system32 folder.

Guest 08-11-2007 01:36 PM

Mighty Midget 08-11-2007 01:39 PM

You have Windows, right? Then look in the hard disc drive where Windows is installed ("your windows directory") There, in the Windows folder, is another folder named system32.

Jim 13-11-2007 02:04 PM

I downloaded a version of this game with the patch but it asks for the CD when i try to run it. Any way around this?

jim 15-11-2007 03:50 PM

I've been playing GPM2 now for a few days and i've pretty much got the hang of it. I can get my team to a position where we make money each race and do very well in qualifying - if i'm a top team i regularly get on the 1st and second rows with both drivers, with a poor team i regularly get both drivers in respectable positions.

However, regardless of what team i am and what drivers i have i ALWAYS do poorly in the actual race. Both drives always finish in a lower position than where they started on the grid.

No matter what i do i simply cant get my drivers to perform well in the races and mainting their starting positions or improve on them.

Am i missing something?

Cheers

altzxaimer 03-10-2008 04:26 PM

Tips

I have found some tips that may help.

Some drivers may tell you how exactly to set your cat for optimum performance, while some other may not.
Before a race or a qualifing sesion these setting should all be perfect to get a good result.
Each race ring needs its own settings, so make some tests on that ring to check that your setting are indeed prefect.

Tires pressure is also important and affect the car speed and how fast they wear off.
Run the same race with different tire pressure and check the tires temperature and how fast they wear off. High or low tire temperature means lower speed and higher possibility to retire early.

If some internal parts have rate lower than 18% they may wear off and cause you to retire early. Try to find better ones to remove this possibility.

;)

ElectroGamer 05-10-2008 05:14 AM

In my game i play as mclaren, and the drivers always perform badly, specialy in the race. I hate seing both of them always crash and because the same reason: "spun off". Does someone know how can improve it?

But regardless of that, nice game to play

altzxaimer 13-10-2008 03:38 PM

To ElectroGamer

As far as I have understand "spun off" is caused when the tires slip on the road.
Very high or very low tires temperature may cause the car to slip on the road.
If the tires are wear off, you also have the same problem.

Your drivers will tell you if the tire pressure is completely wrong, but they will not tell you the accurate pressure you have to use.
There is an optimum pressure that you have to find by yourself.
Higher than the optimum pressure makes the tires to wear off slower, but may lower the tires temperature while in race.
Lower pressure than the optimum will make the tire to wear off faster, and also may increase tires temperature.
The orders you have given to your drivers are also affecting the tires.

I would propose to save before a race and run the same race a lot of times.
Check often the tires condition and temperature and if you find that somthing is wrong rerun the race changing the tires pressure and the orders you give to the drivers.

Have Fun.

ElectroGamer 14-10-2008 10:58 PM

thanks altzxaimer, i will try it out. As long as have already tried, both drivers tell me that th tyre preasure is perfect, however the temperature goes to high and soon or latter both of my cars crash:doh:
Maybe some "fine tuning" on the preasure might make them survive, as in the first 4 races i have not even finished a single time.

And by the way, do you know what do means the drivers orders?

altzxaimer 16-10-2008 01:52 PM

Tips - Orders to drivers

When the tires are brand new (Quality =100%) their temperature for the first lap will always be high.
So, in the beginign of the race or after you change the tires, either do not give any orders to your drivers for at least one lap, or give them the order "pace yourself" for at least one lap.

While in the qualifing sesion I am using the order:
"do or die" for my drivers to get good possition.
This will make them to drive like crazy but the possibility for accident is high, so there should be no near by cars.

"Step on it" will make your drivers to drive fast, but the tires will wear off faster and if they do it for a lot of laps the tires will either overheat, or uderheat.

"Pace yourshelf" is the order you can give to a driver for the whole race.
He may not drive very fast, but he will always take care of the tires temperature and condention. This advantage may give you the win of the race.

"Easy off" will make your drivers to go as slowly as they can, but they may still win the race. I use it rarelly and when my car is at bad condition, but I want my driver to finish the race.

I do not use the other orders often to tell you thei usage, but I think they may affect the bonus the drivers get at the end of the period. Ussually my drivers get a star in quiqness and reliability.

well here is some explanation so you wouldn't look as stupid with computers somewhere else

the shortcut is just a shortcut that runs a real excutable of a program

an excutable is a file which can be executed and run a program.
this file differs in each operation system. in windows this file has extension .exe (if you have hidden file extensinos which is default in windows, immediately turn them back on)
this game has an excutable in it as well. it's called GPM2.EXE

but this case slightly differs because the game needs to have lower colour pallete in order to run (it tells you that when you run it), so you right click the excutable, select properties, click compatibility tab and check the box which says Run in 256 colors. click OK and run the game (double click the excutable, like with any other program)

i hope that you're just new to computers, in any case i hope you will manage to fix your computer illiteracy

edit: lol when i was writing this you managed to write another 2 posts?

you have to copy wing32.dll from the game directory into c:\windows\system (i guess your windows is on c drive)

torque82 25-10-2008 12:09 PM

Sub-folder is a folder inside a folder. If someone says "in the system32 subfolder of Windows folder", he means the system32 folder that is inside the Windows folder.
Note that some people use "directory" or "catalog" instead of "folder" (for explanations on that, see this Wikipedia article)

_r.u.s.s. 05-01-2009 12:52 AM

there is sound but there are so little sounds, you can actually hear something only when race is in progress. and you can't turn fullscreen, i guess you could just decrease your resolution or get a program like reslink to change resolution so it'd fit specific window on fullscreen

ElectroGamer 05-01-2009 03:14 PM

There is no way of changing the size of the game.
But the workaround to better see it is the resolution: at 1024x768 or more, it's too small, at 800x600 seems ok (for me) and at 640x480 is almost full screen. Just change the screen resolution before running the game and it will be ok.

Help

Hey.
I've downloaded the game and got the same problem as everybody else. The error, for the Wing32.dll. I moved this file and the contents of the rest of the 'System' folder into the System32 windows file.
I've also altered the compatablilty to Windows 95 and 256 bit colour.
However nothing helps and the game still gives me the same error code. Has anyone got and advice of help?
Thanks..

Ed

Doing it in that fashion won't work for several reasons.

Download this, unpack it then run the installer.

I downloaded and unpacked the files, then ran the installer. I got the same error message. What shall i do now? Do i need to put the files i downloaded into the System32 file or what?

Thanks.

I have unpacked all the files from the folder you told me to download. Then i restarted my pc. When i then click on the gpm2 application, it still says failed to start because of wing32.dll. Any ideas as to why this is still happening? Im desperate to play this game haha.

That does not count as installing it. After you unpacked the files, you have to run setup.exe and go through the installation. After that you have to reboot your machine.

Ahh right, are we talking about installing the Wing10 file here? I just tried to install that, but i get the message "this version is not compatiable with the version of windows your running. Check to see if you need a x32, 32-bit or a x64, 64-bit.

So i copied the wing32.dll to there, and the games now work!

so maybe because your XP is 64bit, you need the wing32.dll in your 64bit system directory as well.. just a thought :)

Ouch, not good. Perhaps Windows 3.x set up inside a virtual machine (or within DOSBox, which is slightly easier to do) would help here.

64bit windows is only different a way how memory is handled, it should be more efficient and windows is able to allocate more memory. there shouldn't be a lot of backwards compatibility issues, but it might bring some in special cases

but to be honest, 64 bit versions of os are pretty much useless right now, it will have a bigger importance in future

you can see which version of windows you have when you right click My Computer icon on the desktop and select properties

I am trying to install the game but it won't let me.
I am running windows vista 64-bit.
I have copied all the system files into my system32 file.

However i still get the original error:

"application has failed to start because WING32.dll was not found."

Just to check i'm am not making a fundamental error, to instal the game, I am clicking on the file labeled:
"GMP2" and it is an "application" and the size is "1,614Kb"

Is this the correct way to install the game?

Hey Professor Oak,

I've just tried the solution. I tried installing wing10, and i got this message:

"This version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows your're running. Check your computers system information to see whether you need and x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of the program, and then contact the software publisher."

What should I do now?

I am assuming i would need a 64-bit, given that my Vista is 64bit?

Thanks for the help. I can't wait to play this game again.

You download VPC2007 for 64 bit Windows, install it, and then you also need W98SE or XP to install in virtual PC.
Once that done you can run most of them old games in it without problems.
A few that needs full 3D support won't run in it as VPC doesn't support real 3D, but luckily most games from that era can run in what's usually called 'software mode' or similar.

A fast testrun on Vista 64/XPC2007/W98SE with GPM2 shows that it runs flawless.
http://img816.imageshack.us/img816/838/gpm2001.th.png

http://img34.imageshack.us/img34/1020/gpm2002.th.png

I just was to lazy to set W98SE desktop res to 640x480, but VPC can also run full screen if wanted.

You may ignore that warning, I'm on ultimate, but have already installed it on home 64 bits, it works.
It's just that MS likes to sell the costly high end versions.

There is no 64-bit version. WinG has been discontinued after DirectX 1 was released.
The best thing I could suggest is that you use DOSBox combined with this: http://www.abandonia.com/vbullet/sho...48&postcount=2
(but read the instructions...)

VPC creates an empty virtual PC, hence the name, it ain't an emulator like dosbox.
So you'll need a W98SE (or XP) install CD.

Once you installe the guest OS (Vista is 'host' here) in VPC it will act as a full fledged PC.
Specific fo GPM2:
I used a 'shared' VPC folder as you can see in the screenshots, the game from AB ran directly from there, no need to install.

Notice: to be able to use a shared host/guest folder the VM Addituins must be installed in the guest OS. (Menu 'action' 'install VM additions', guest reboot needed)
Or you put AB's GPM2 game on a CD(RW) and mount that CD in VPC, as you wish. But then you'll need to copy the whole game from CD on the guest's C: to be able to save.(CD icon menu bar)

I'm getting somewhere now.

I'm halfway through the instructions on the metzomagic article by S.Metlzer,

Is this ok?

I'm actually using an external USB hard disk for my VHD.

format (y/n)?

Is this normal, do i just click yes?

As long as you keep working in your VM (VPC's Virtual Machine) : yes.
You hardly screw up anything on your host OS inside the VM.
And if you screw up your VM: restart from zero. XD

And please, the last two pages have nothing to see with GPM2 but everything about VPC, so create, if needed, a topic about VPC in troubleshooting.
For gamers who are looking for some info or want to share experiences about the game it must be frustrating lecture ....... I won't respond here in this topic anymore about VPC.

Guest 04-12-2010 10:23 PM

Thanks for that.

So i've gone ahead and followed the metzomagic article.

Its really good and helpful. However i get to step 17. The installing of Windows 98, and I try all the available drives entering 'setup' as specified and i just get the answer 'bad command'.

What should I do here?

Do I need a Cd in the drive at the time of doing this as well?

Thanks.

The Fifth Horseman 05-12-2010 07:37 AM

Yes, where else do you expect the installation data to come from?

Guest 05-12-2010 09:04 AM

Oh right. So I need to locate a Windows 98se disk before I can go any further?

So the article is only about getting the disk to boot? It doesn't run off the image?

dosraider 05-12-2010 09:45 AM

If you have a Win98SE CD image you can mount that.
Use the CD icon in the lower menu bar to mount the CD image.

The Fifth Horseman 05-12-2010 09:55 AM

Correct. Any Windows 98 version will do.
No, it's about the entire installation procedure. But, like said before, you need the CD (or its' image) to install the system from.
The only thing that runs off the floppy image you have is a rudimentary command line interface with HDD and CD support. It's a stopgap measure used for machines which could not boot directly from a CD.

Guest 05-12-2010 03:19 PM

I've done it! Well i've managed to get windows 98 to start on my VPC, and it works etc.

However, now how do I get my GPM2 files onto that computer? You mentioned a shared file. How do I do this?

Thanks, and thanks so much for your help so far. Its been great.

Always share a folder, never a complete drive, create a specific 'shared' folder for VPC, better safe than sorry.

And once you get everything working swell it's time to backup (zip) your VHD file, should you completely screw up something in W98VPC it's only a matter of two minutes to put a working VHD back. Just saying.

Guest 05-12-2010 03:47 PM

Apologies I missed that. I've sorted the whole shared folder thing.

Now on trying to install the game i'm getting the same error that a lot of people were previously getting.

The missing wing32.dll file.

I know it is in the system file, and it is on my host OS. However when using my VPC, those files aren't visible or aren't shared?

How do I get round this issue?

Just an added detail. The first release of GPM2 was Win 3.x and Win 95 compatible. The v1.2 update made it Win 95 compatible only. This is by far the most common version. I'm not sure how many copies of the original v1 were released, but every commercials copy and download copy online that I have come across so far is v1.2 or higher.

That said, I have been looking for a copy of v1.0 for over 2 years now. If anyone happens to have it, *please* let me know.

INSTRUCTIONS - HOW TO RUN IN WINDOWS 7

Hello,

I can run it under Windows 7. I write some instructions: please take them 'as it is', even if they aren't a very efficient solution everyone can make them and maybe can help you.

1- Create the folder C:\GPM2 (or similar) and paste there the files, make sure that the folder "system" is there.

2- Go in C:\GPM2\system, right click on wind32.dll and give your user the permissions to manage this file, then do the same for all the other 4 files named "wing...".

3- Go in C:\GPM2, create a new text file, name it GPM2_RUN.BAT and paste the following content inside:
echo off
echo ### Will copy temporary the 32-bit DLLs - needs to be run as administrator - Press a key
pause
cd\
cd C:\GPM2
copy C:\GPM2\system\wing32.dll c:\windows\system32\wing32.dll
copy C:\GPM2\system\wing.dll c:\windows\system32\wing.dll
copy C:\GPM2\system\wingde.dll c:\windows\system32\wingde.dll
copy C:\GPM2\system\wingdib.drv c:\windows\system32\wingdib.drv
copy C:\GPM2\system\wingpal.wnd c:\windows\system32\wingpal.wnd
cd C:\GPM2
echo ###
echo ### PRESS A KEY TO START
echo ### (AFTER THE EXIT, PRESS A KEY AGAIN - TO RUN GPM_END.bat)
pause
GPM2.EXE
pause
cd C:\GPM2
CALL GPM_END.bat

4- Go in C:\GPM2, create a new text file, name it GPM2_END.BAT and paste the following content inside:
echo ### Will remove temporary the 32-bit DLLs - needs to be run as administrator - Press a key
pause
cd\
del c:\windows\system32\wing32.dll
del c:\windows\system32\wing.dll
del c:\windows\system32\wingde.dll
del c:\windows\system32\wingdib.drv
del c:\windows\system32\wingpal.wnd
cd C:\GPM2
echo ### END - TYPE EXIT

5- Go in Windows menu - > All programs - > Accessories , click with right mouse on "Command prompt" and then click on "Send to - > Desktop (create shortcut)"

6- Move the new link "Command Prompt" from Desktop to C:\GPM2

7- Right click on the new link "Command Prompt", select Properties, modify the item Destination from "%windir%\system32\cmd.exe" to "%windir%\system32\cmd.exe start /k "cd C:\GPM2"". Rename the link "Command prompt" to "GPM2 - RUN THIS AS ADMIN - TYPE GPM2_RUN"

8- Right click on GPM2.EXE, select Properties, then select the tab "Compatibility" and select "256 colors", "Run as administrator" and "Run as compatible with Win98"

9- Finally, right click on the new "GPM2 - RUN THIS... " link, select "Run as administrator", wait for the command window to open, then type GPM2_RUN to start it. If this doesn't run completely, try to launch GPM2.EXE as administrator manually.

Note: In C:\GPM2\system there is also a file GPM2MICP.INI, but for me it was not necessary to modify it.

Thank you for your attention.
Have fun!

P.S. In Step 3, the last line should be CALL GPM2_END.bat

Anyone manage to get this working on Windows 7, I've moved the Wing32.dll file into the System32 folder (all of the files from the 'system' game folder infact) and still get the error saying not there, selected the option to run in Win95 and 256 Colour mode and still no joy, tried the CmdPrompt thing to and it just fails.

Anyone got any other ideas

Smiling Spectre 10-04-2016 08:07 PM

There is one slight problem, if you have x64 system. When x64 was introduced, MS made one quirky change to the Windows(es): any 64-bit exe sees System32 as system folder, but any 32-bit exe sees SysWOW64 folder instead as System32. So if your system is 64-bit, you need to put your files into SysWOW64, not in the System32 (I have no idea if it will work though, but System32 essentially invisible for 32-bit anyway).

Have Fun.

Where does the Driver tell you about Tire Pressure?

Got This Working Fine when I installed Windows 98 onto PCem and did not have to add any files to make it work fine

DaveTheMan 03-03-2021 03:21 AM

I have updated to the Last Patch for GPM2 but when I go to Race It Crashes.

This what it looks like when the Crash Happens.

Can this be FIX and/IF how do I do it?

Something wrong either with patch, or Windows.

Check the version from old-games.ru maybe? There is some patch too.

Also it says "use 256-color mode" note. Can it be the reason?

I have tried it on Different Window Builds and Same Thing Happened.

The Original Install from CD seems to work fine but when I add the Patch I get that Error

Got Patch from Here:

Sorry. :| After update I cannot even start the game. It wants the CD in D:, that is impossible without virtual machine.

Ah, wait, I can use No-CD. Works. Without any problems. On the Win10 x64. (After I installed the game under DOSBox/Win3.1, of course).

I have tried putting Win 3.1 on Dosbox but I just get Errors when I load it up and try and use Programs

Smiling Spectre 29-03-2021 06:46 AM

There is installed Win3.1 here on Abandonia, I believe. It must be enough to run installers (but not always enough to run the games, but there you don't need it). I recommend to save "vanilla" copy, to replace your working install when needed (Win3.x too often get broken after the next installed tools set).

Ah, one quirk: for me, Daum DOSBox build was the best for Win3.1.

I wouldn't recommend DOSBox Daum to any new users. It hasn't been updated since 2015 and I think the developer has completely stopped supporting it. I think there were also some issues with the last release (broken features, broken support for several games).

For Windows 3.x, the official DOSBox build is good enough. If you want some extra features, you can try DOSBox ECE, DOSBox-x or DOSBox Staging.

I tried using that and Yes it worked fine with the Original GPM 2 but when Updated I got this Error:

What does that Mean as I don't know

Smiling Spectre 05-04-2021 11:50 AM

Picture didn't came through, Dave.

But after update game become 32-bit, so no more playable under Win3.1. Play it without emulator.

Well turning it into 32 Bit make it also Crash on Windows 98 as well?

Would it work on Windows XP(Even thru a Emulator)?

Smiling Spectre 06-04-2021 01:05 PM

I have no idea, sorry. As I said above, I installed original under 3.1, then replaced .exe with patched one, and then simply ran it under Win10 x64.

Is it worse under Win98? Strange then.
