Abomination - The Nemesis Project [SOLD]

I got this game a long time ago for 4 dollars. I bet it's abandonware now and I'm pretty sure I still have the cd and I have the box so I can provide a box scan. Can somebody check the status?

EDIT: Checked your oldwarez list, it looks wrong to me. Says the game is still sold, yet when I go to moby games there is no where you can buy it. Amazon doesn't have it and it's not even on Ebay. Anyways, if it would be on Ebay, that doesn't mean it's still sold <_<

If a game is marked sold in the AW list there is always a buy link - in this case: CDAccess.com.

Does CDAccess buy copies directly from Hothouse? If not then it's not sold...

22 copies still in stock

If CDAccess still has a given game in stock, we consider it to be sold. Otherwise games like Terra Nova or Realms of Arkania III would have been on Abandonia a long time ago.

Sorry to be rude and such, but I could do that too. I will go around hording copies of old games and then open a website and sell them. If the game is not made by the company that made it or a company that bought rights to the game, it is no longer supported. Therfore, it is abandonware!

Look, BM... that's them rules. There is no point in arguing.

2. Games that are still sold. This includes online stores, compilations, bundle packs and cases where the games are attached as freebies on magazine cover CD's or as bonuses when purchasing some modern game (eg Bard's Tale 1-3 have been included with the recent Bard's Tale game). Second-hand auctions do not count.

Abomination: The Nemesis Project (1999) by Eidos Inc.
Still sold, and if it's sold out...well Eidos is ultra ESA protected.
So rejected.

Also, Amazon _does_ have one new copy (and a few used ones): http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B00...1610608-7256823

OW List buy link updated to the CDAccess page which shows # of copies left in stock (currently: 22).

Abomination

I remember playing a PC game in the 90s that was quite similar to UFO. Sadly I forgot the name. Does the following ring a bell?

- Tactical squad based game
- Defeat alien invasion with some sort of green hive expansion on campaign map
- Battle on streets & in sewers, bit of a post apocalyptic setting
- R&D
- Weapons: Railguns, rifles, machine guns, etc.
- Opponents are zombie like humans in the beginning but get much better later on
- Rather difficult game to beat
