If you mean SID ONLY, it's a tie between the soundtracks of Last Ninja II and "To be on Top". SID-music never got any better.

However, there are quite some "normal" bands who still use a SID as the synthesizer of their choice, "Welle Erdball" being one of the best of those.

Well, To be on top wasn't perfect either!
It WOULD be a favorite but most songs on it end after 10 seconds and the first song doesn't even do anything, its silent!
