A Pennsylvania court has ruled that Creation (yes, that's what it is, not intelligent design). This not only assures a better education for children in Pennsylvania but sets a precedent for other, similar cases and allows this issue to go futher.

I think they should continue to teach it, but I really agree that they shouldn't regard it as fact, because... well... it isn't.

There are hundreds of thousands of observations from all fields of science supporting evolution. And not a single one which contradicts it. Evolution is as much of fact as plate tectonics and a heliocentric solar system.

And creationism should not be given equal time in school for the same reason that alchemy should not be given equal time in Chemistry and the idea that the holocaust never happened should not be given equal time is History.
