Hello Guys,

when clicking on some of the games (i.e. '5 Days A Stranger') to see the review, I get no response from the server. Anybody else encounter this Problem ?

This might be a left over from out recent server move. We will look into this.

Seems ok here.. which browser are you using?

El Pollo 21-12-2004 09:47 PM

Mozilla Firefox 1.0

I experienced similar problems when I was behind a badly configured router. For some reasons my sessions weren't handled properly by it.... are you perhaps behind one, or a firewall of some kind?

El Pollo 21-12-2004 09:52 PM

Windows XP SP2 Firewall. No Router.

Yes, I was kind of hoping that only myself experienced this problem, but this is obviously not the case.... I probably messed something up with sessions, but I don't know what :(

Right now the only alternative I can offer you is to use Internet Explorer as everything works properly there. I assure you that there is no spyware or popups on Abandonia...

OK, no big problem as this only applies to some of the games. Maybe the ones still residing on your old server ? All the games added in the last few days work. Maybe problem will sort itself out in the future.

Just a little :ot:, but I had to say it.

Don't relly on Windows XP built in Firewall. Better disable it and get a real firewall.

If you don't, don't say I did not warn you. ;)

Microsoft improved their Built-In-Firewall in Service Pack 2. Haven't yet heard of any exploits for bypassing it. Did you ?

Thanks for your concern anyway!
