Command & Conquer uploader
I noticed this a while ago, but with the main page focussing on this, I'd just like to point it out again... the DOS version of Command & Conquer currently uploaded on Abandonia is the one I made and uploaded here. But after it was taken down for ESA reasons, and subsequently put back after C&C was made freeware, the C&C page says "Uploaded by: marko river". Can you fix that please? :(

Checked with Internet Archive.
Seems someone made a mistake in that mess of a site upgrade. :/ Fixed. |
Thanks!
Talking about that "mess of a site upgrade"... it frequently happens that I have to log out and back in on the main page just so I'd be logged in on the forums. Quite annoying... |
Just reload the frame - http://www.abandonia.com/en/forum - without logging out. Works for me. :)
|
Oh... I don't use the frame. Hate those things.
|
Opening that page and leaving it again also works. :)

Actually, I DID supplied the archive for C&C, as well as review and shots. It was before ESA deal. I even know where I got the archive from, I had to clean archive from local dealer's files. You can check in the C&C discussion, I have replied after lot of replies, people were happy to see the game on site.
However, it is possible that you uploaded archive later and that one was placed later. I don't know, I would have to check archive. |
I just downloaded it. Is this C&C Gold? Please tell me that archive I originally supplied is still somewhere...
|
Please correct me because I don't know much about those C&C version and releases.
I'm guessing that this is not C&C Gold, but it is some later release because there are new missions. I played this new missions long time ago. It's probably Covert Operations. What is our policy on add-ons? Should we simply keep this version as it is now (and perhaps add a notice at the end of review) or should this be like a separate game update? |
