Age of Empires II

Thus this is the challenges forum, I'd like to challange anyone for a game of Age of Empires II: The Age of Conquerors anytime. I use version 1.0c, and the multiplayer through hamachi is stabil. So, anyone wants my doom, and to beat me deep into the ground, I'm in ;)

:( If my bro didn't take Age of Empires 2 and the expansion to Winnipeg, I'd play with you. :(

I like making little villages all over the map in AoE2, then making roads (build a house and destroy it) throughout my kingdom to give me the feel of a more 'Medieval' area.

When i was at my buds he hosted a game and we all did that on a big map, so each of us had like 5 vilalges spaced out, and instead of going directly to war, we had proxy wars, in which we sent like maybe a band of 30 or so men, all different (like archers, horsemen, random swords people) and made them act as rebel bands, that would attack caravans as they made there way through forests :)

Have you ever played with the scenario editor, Fubby? You can custom design your own campaigns and put in as many roads and castles etc as you'd like :)

There's also hero characters like Robin Hood, William Wallace, Belisarius, Joan of Arc... I put them all together to form a super-army :3:

Some words about the scenario editor, I've made two movies, with around 210 triggers per scenario :D

However, I'm still awaiting challange :p

Sorry :( I can't play at work, and no internet at home. So pretend I challenged you and you won, ok? :amused:

Naaah, don't overestimate me.

Let's say that it is a draw. :)

Aaaar.... I don't know how to configure the multiplayer option. it keeps freezing when I test it... O_o

First of all, it might freeze when you select the Serial option. It happened me when I was playing on my old PC. The only setting you need there is the Internet TCP/IP option. Then, show games, and it will give you a window to type in the host PC's name or it's IP. I prefer to write in the IP, because it's the most direct option. The other PC need to have a game hosted. If it is, then you have a straight run.

However, you may also try to download the version 1.0c from the AoK Heaven, it has a much more stabil multiplayer.
