Was Q-BERT just a total rip off of this game or what?

Hard to say. Both games came out in 1983, even if I can't really find reliable information for this game. J-Bird can actually be the ripp off. :whistle:

According to the Wikipedia article (which may well be incorrect, obviously), Q-Bert was made in 1982, which would make J-Bird the rip-off.

K i have no idea how 2 get rid of the snake. He keeps chasing me down the pyramid and i get traped. HOW DO I KILL IT!?! :sniper: :Titan:

Same here i've tried and i just cant kill it!!!!!! (or at least get it to jump off the cliff.)

It's twenty years since I played it, but I do remember how to deal with the snake:
Let it come close, then jump onto the wings. The snake jumps into the void.

There is a fanmade remake of Q-Bert for DOS called PC-Bert. It has better graphics than J-Bird and it's freeware :thumbs:
