Last weekend I spend my time at the Dutch 'A campingflight to Lowlands Paradise 2007' festival. It's an awesome music- and cultural festival featuring a wide range of styles! Amazingly, the weather was pretty decent, so no mud-wrestling ;) While there, I visited these artists:
* Just Jack (little bit monotonic, but okay) * The Editors (nice!) * Justice (Live) (very nice, excellent and with many climaxes) * Mika (awesome! he's as good live as on cd!) * Basement Jaxx (always perfect. the show was very cool!) * Doug Standhope (Stand-up comedy) (he pretty much sucked) * Nosfell (weird... way too weird for me) * Patrick Wolf (nice, melodramatic, emotional) * Bernie's Lounge (cool, multicultural funk/jazz/soul mixture) * CSS (over-the-top and not very well sung, but a pretty nice show) * The Rifles (can't really remember...) * The Pigeon Detectives (meh... I'm a little bit too old for this...) * The Shins (can't really remember...) * Patrick Watson (nice songs) * Chatham County Line (something completely different: bluegrass... still, they were cool) ... I might have missed one or two bands :P There was a lot of beer and some hash involved as well :whistling: ^_^ So, anyone else go? And if so, what did you see? |
