Battle Chess Enhanced [SUPPORTED]
 

Hi.
I've tried looking for this particular version, to no avail.
I don't wish to download this, I wish to buy it (the CD soundtrack helps a lot)
It was a version of battle chess that I got along with one of my older computers. It had a CD soundtrack while your thinking and when the pieces move, and it had a CD track devoted to chess moves and pieces. I'm looking for this version because it's the best battle chess by far.
PLEASE, not the old DOS version or the so called "windows battle chess" on this site..
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

After discussing this with Paco, this game's 'approved' status is now up for examination. Unless evidence can be found demonstrating that Battle Chess Enhanced, like the original Battle Chess game, was released as freeware, then this game will be labeled 'invalid' due to being sold on GOG.com.

Forum member te_lanus pointed me to an interesting post on the GOG.com forums by a GOG.com staff member regarding Battle Chess Enhanced:

Therefore, I believe the abandonware status of Battle Chess Enhanced should be reconsidered.

Publisher/developer (Interplay) is not an ESA member anymore.
However, it seems to be still supported at Interplay's site.
Also sold at Amazon.
