I've got a broadband connection that works great up until 1 hour and 35mins!

It then drops out without notice and cannot be reconected. (using menu/ unplug replug modem etc)
The only thing that works is restarting the computer

Im not to good with internet problems so if someone has heard of this or if its a really obvious problem please let me know. :help:

What's your OS?

If you have XP, then open Command prompt and type:

ipconfig

this will list your network connections on the computer

then, if internet is not working, try this:

ipconfig /release

ipconfig /renew

First line will release all network connections, and second one will renew them. Then try to use internet.

Write here your findings. :)

Glad it helps. Still keep your computer secure from spyaware by using spybot or some simillar products.

It is good, but I use SpyBot as in advance mode you can edit your startup files, protect IE and most importantly, use “Tea Timer.” It protects your registry from being changed without your permission. Adaware's equivalent is available only for those who purchased the program.

Never rely on just 1 scanner. Both are good. Ewido is good to.
