Check out this badboy - 9 buttons if you include the left and right click and the scroll ball. It has an application switch button which I think is pretty cool. No more alt-tabbing like the rest of you stone age savages. :P

Came with two rechargeable batteries, which is what the cradle is for, besides being the cordless receiver. Beautifully ergonomic design, I must say, and has the afore-mentioned advantage of being cordless. Cool, huh?

Me too got optical mouse recently. I got only 5 buttons. :)

I think the most important thing is good driver, which allows you to scroll pages without having to set focus on a window (for example when you browsing page in IE and then move your mouse cursor over winamp playlist to scroll songs). And another thing is comfortable side buttons. I use them to navigate through my directories.

I have a wired mouse out of principle. 5 buttons, including one that shows all open windows on the screen so you can choose the one you want to go to. MUCH better than Alt-Tab or similar functions. I also have a 360° scrollball.

but hey, for windows, your mouse rules! :ok:

I have optical mouse too. It has two buttons and a wheel + some useless button I've never used.

I used to have a Logitech chordless/optical, but the damn buttons just didn't cope with being used. They all broke within a week (noooo, I'm not the Hulk or anything). Now I have my old pal, a chorded Logitech. Three buttons and a scroll wheel, the wheel button being backed up by a thumb button. It's good enough for daily use. (the chordless one had lights in it... ooooh! What a waste of energy)

Congrats anyway, with your new one.

Just the fact that you posted this on a forum, denies the whole sentence.

I have a Wired optical mouse with 2 mouse buttons and a weel in the middle. It rocks. :ok:

Still Alt-Tab, but it's better this way. With my spastic fingers i would hit the mouse button responsible for it out of accident to often. LOL

And Wireless sucks. All my Stuff is wired when possible.
