The Spirit Engine 2 is now freeware
 

After years of development, The Spirit Engine 2 will finally be released on July 30. Too bad it will not be a freeware :( But if you like the game, go ahead and buy it. The demo is here.

I am not affiliated in any way with the game maker, but perhaps some of older posters remember my thread on The Spirit Engine 1 here.

This looks really good. I guess I'll have to add another game to the pile. ^.^ Thanks for mentioning this, I never would have known about it otherwise. :)

Sorry for resurrecting this thread, but Mark Pay had decided to release The Spirit Engine 2 as freeware. Check out his thread here, and he needs more hostings (hint: Abandonia Reloaded :max:)

@ Mods: feel free to lock this thread. I just resurrected this thread to let others know about this news.

I think that if at a time it was a commercial game and then it gets released as freeware, it can be on both sites :D

Yeah, but the download is 206 MB :(

Ah yes... I forgot about the game size limitation. Still, it's a shame if a game such as The Spirit Engine 2 is not hosted on Reloaded. Especially since Reloaded already hosts the first one (The Spirit Engine 1).

EDIT: Oh wait... it turns out Reloaded does not really host The Spirit Engine 1... Reloaded only gives link to The Spirit Engine website... :doh:

we can redirect download link to the official site though, just like gta..

by the way, the game is wonderful, very recommended
