Hello Abandonians!
We did a long brainstorming session between Staff members which led us to some changes to the forum disposition.
The reasons are many but the main scope is a general optimization of our forum sections and hopefully the final result should also simplify the navigation.

How does becoming a Admin here even happen?
As in, how do you become an admin... Dedication and hardwork?
Being extremely knowledgeable? Then what happens? Another staff member asks you to join the staff?

You got the entire sequence backwards.
If there is an opening for an admin position, we look for candidates within the current staff roster, among those who have already proven themselves as moderators - and, usually, either are also updaters, have otherwise acquired a good familiarity with the site's procedures or have displayed a good amount of leadership qualities.
