I want to know some vector gfx games. 2 i already know of are Alpha Waves and Mech Warrior 1

The Fifth Horseman 08-12-2005 02:12 PM

Robocop 3, also, but it's impossible to run on DosBox.

You won't find any vector-graphics games for the PC. PCs use raster displays. :bleh:

Mercenary for the C64 (Damocles for the Amiga) was GREAT! Here's the remake:
http://mercenarysite.free.fr/mddclone.htm

It's all three games, the screenie you see is from the third, but the first two are wireframe.

Another great C64 wireframe game is the game Cholo. You can get the remake at http://cholo.ovine.net/terminal/index.php but it now containes some filled polygon's :bleh:

Wasn't Wizardry I vector graphics? I think I recall the dungeon just being squares made of white lines. Of course that was back on an Apple IIe, but I would suspect it was the same on the old PCs.

The original Battlezone was wireframe IIRC, and the remake had some neat polygonal graphics that were quite reminiscent of the style. It was also a hugely underrated game.

I had it on the Apple IIe too. The dungeon did indeed have a (very simplistic) wireframe look, but monsters didn't. Great game, BTW. MY first RPG, if I'm not mistaken.
