Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade

When running it via DOSBox, this game runs fine. However, when attempting to run it on my original machine, with:

486 processor
PC DOS 7
Stealth 6 DRAM video card
Sound Blaster 16

it gives the following message upon typing the command to start the game:

"Divide error"

That's all I get anymore. I also have Windows 3.1 on this machine, but when trying to run it from Win3.1, I get completely random sound, as this game was intended to run via PC Speaker. Do you think having the SB16 in the computer would be what's messing it up?

A 486 is pretty fast for that kind of game.
You could try to slow your CPU with MoSlo or similar ....
Or disable all speedy settings in your BIOS.

BTW, 'divide error' comes from the fact that your PC is so fast that the outcome of the game's speed control (is a divide exercise) is zero .... and a zero isn't acceptable.

Slow the 486 down or get yourself a 286.
