wanna take a peek at the warez scene (especially movie release groups)?

here is a link to a site i found yesterday. i think the videos there are funny. they are at least worth watching (you need the XVID codec).

maybe someone wants to take a look.

this site is called "welcome to the scene". there are no warez on the site, but funny videos about some guys who pretend to be one of the many movie release groups. they show the ambitions of these people and the problems they are having in a very interesting way. there are p2p-links for the videos, but also direct weblinks. the content is hard to explain. it would be best, if you just watch one of them.

You confused me there, you said welcome to the warez scene, then you point us to a link, then you say it isn't warez.

the video files are only available if you use a peer-to-peer system like bittorrent...
so that's the "warez part"...

but the vids themselves are no warez. i guess that's what bobbin implied.

bit torrent is not warez, bit torrent is a protocal for sharing large files.

Warez is the sharing of files illegally across p2p and bit torrent protocals.

Looks somewhat interesting, maybe I'll try them out later...

actually i've meant that the files being exchanged over bittorrent are warez, not
bittorrent itself... :whistle:
