I know that this feature is for fun but this turned to a very annoying thing. There are ppl that post from the names of others, spamming and other things. :angry: Please do something like option to ignore members or atleast something with the names!

Its almost impossible to caht because some1 is writing from your name and that confuses everything. PLZ DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!! :help:

Well.. theire IP's are tagged along with every post, so it's not realy hard to track down fake-posters...

It's theire own fault if they choose to do so..

one day, i was eager to join shoutbox as well. but after i realized that some
comments were quite untypical for the persons whose names were indicated
i felt somewhat confused.

in general, chatrooms would be a nice addition for abandonia. but we have to
make sure, that noone is able to misuse that options.

on my website, i have implemented a freeware php-chat which is almost
fully customable. maybe this would be a considerable alternative to the shoutbox?

How about taging ip's to nicknames.This way you can't use somebody else's nick, but you can use a nick that is not in the database(if you want to be stealthy) :sneaky:

Or just give the people a warn when they are doing things like that :ranting:
