Finally found a workaround for uploading emoticons to the server. :transient:

Meaning, we can officially add new ones. :venom:

I propose gaming related emoticons. I want an Avatar emoticon and some other shizzle. How about a miniature Doom Guy?

What dimensions are the smilies limited to? I know you don't want anything ridiculously large, but there are some images I can provide to flesh out the forums with a few gaming related emoticons.

I have a GB of them...not really :p but I would like to help ;)

Can I insert them here? I could also prepare a .zip/.rar

No, the style is unnecessary, it's fine to have a round yellow one and then have a small realistic human head wearing a party hat. It's a forum, not the front page.

I just suggest we try to use unique emoticons, none of that stock crap people use regularly, it's not difficult to make these suckers and having unique emoticons is better than just a bunch of random ones from various sources.

Also it brings up the prospect that if something stupid happens here we can create an emoticon to remember it by.

Some original AB ones would be nice: The viking, the wallbash, the thumbs-up, the tomato, the ... kosta? Can we do his head somehow, from his avatar? :venom: :nuts:

And an electric guitar! And a "cool" icon with diamante pink sunglasses! And a black horsehead of doom! [for horseman - :horseman: gets you a black horsehead with a grin, or something]. And a carrot! [for teh horse]

Project Gutenberg has cute animated ones. There's a whole band playing, a smiley vacuuming, a smiley carving the venus de'Milo, then chopping off the arms and grinning... The sky's the limit...!

They're not really limited. The standard ones are 16x16, 20x20 is fine too, but there's nothing to prevent larger ones.

I dont know if its still available, but I would like to see the old "smile" smiley back.

You know, the one that was like "Im listening to you"
