I looooooove Doctor Who. Love the old series. Love the new series. Unfortunately the Gallifreian has never translated well into video games. I heard about this game a while back so once again Abandonia has given me an unfulfilled childhood desire.

Yeah, this game stinks, but I resent the reviewers obvious disdain towards Doctor Who...

The new stuff is about 1000x better, so try watching some of it before you make fun...

*laf* I didn't even read the review. I realize that's what Ab is all about, different from other sites, but on a game like this, it's like "it's Dalek Attack. Nuf said."

The character is called "Doctor", not "Doctor Who".

HELP!!! I ran the program, it gets through the introduction...and stops! How to I correct it (the computer that I am using to play it on is an old Packard Pell with PC-DOS installed on it)?

Install MsDos 6.22 on that PC.
Or maybe check the soundsettings?

Sorry...I guess I should have specified that it has PC-DOS 7.0 on it

You did. The point is that MS-DOS and PC-DOS are not the same, most DOS software was produced in mind with the former rather than the latter, and therefore it would be a good idea to check if the problem doesn't lie in your operating system.

After trying to work with the program a bit more I am beginning to think that somehow the software doesn't work correctly with my Soundblaster card (not the pro version). Is there any way I can tweek it to make it (my sound card) function correctly?
