Golden Immortal

I've some Screenshots available

I've never even heard of this game, man...
I didn't find anything on a cursory search about it, either.

Something to help search for it would be good.

Try adventurepoint.co.uk, look for Games starting with G on the database...
It was sold at least twice at eBay, in 2007...

Unfortunately, my Time-Browser is offline so I can't follow up the 2007 lead.

A link would've been good, if you've found some info on the game.

I have a feeling that this may be a challenge to get hold of...

From the sounds of Dragom's PM - this game, along with the others Dragon has put into Requests, will need (if approved) to go into "Needing Archives".

He says that he has made an agreement with whomever supplied the original archives, to not put them in the public domain (nor give them to anyone who would do that).

So... I'm guessing that these rare games won't be available any time soon... :(

Hello,

I have been looking for this since many years.

What do you mean? I'm lost. You mean someone has this but they don't want to pass it along? Who is this person? I would pay for an ISO.

Thanks,

It's not a matter of money.
Dragom gave his word to someone about not spreading that copy, and has to keep that word.

Talkie 05-12-2009 03:33 PM

Is it possible to have informations either about the motive behind Dragom's friend secretive philosophy or where can this person be reached?

Someone gave him the copy of the game, but made him swear he won't give it to anyone he doesn't trust to not share it around.
Keeping a given word is a bitch.

Talkie 05-12-2009 04:41 PM

Why are you replying for him, Fifth? Were you involved in this exchange?

Can Dragom come and explain the situation more clearly?
Dragom? Where are you?

Is this about the owner wanting to make sure only a few rare initiated get a chance to play it? I mean, who is going to really care about Golden Immortal but me and about 10 other people? What would be so untrusting of anyone who actually knows anything about this title?

Dragom, Is this the only title that your friend ever pass to you under secretive oaths, or did you receive many? I'm trying to get a sense of
what you are gaining from keeping your word. Morality? Are you even still in touch with this person? Sometimes keeping a word for the sake of it is not very logical. It's like dying a rosicrucian: everybody eventually finds out what you've been hiding all your life. Time pass and circumstances change.

If you are still in touch with that person, bring him on here, and let's talk business.
