I like both old games and new games, time doesn't bother me aslong as the game is enjoyable.
Does everybody feel this way? |
I do, but I think that a lot of games that are new lost the magic that alot of the old games have
|
I play a good mix of both..though I don't think games of today (particularly adventure games) capture the feeling of the old games.
|
Im not old enough to truly appreciate older games, I do however feel that some of the older are games are far more intelligent than most of todays main stream trash.
Independent developers... now there cool :) |
I like both old and new games.
But I really miss the old point & click adventure games like Maniac Mansion, Simon The Sorceror, Monkey Island etc. Those were REAL games. :tease: |
Its not the age its the quality for me..but I like em both :)

For me, if its a good game, its a good game, no matter when it came out. Unfortunatelly, my definition of a good game includes original, captivating and challanging gameplay and story, while I find that the majority of today's games are too focused on graphics. Nevertheless, many gems do emerge. For example, I really like the new Psychonauts game - good gameplay, nice graphics, super nice and original story, etc... Right now I'm also playing Temple of Elemental Evil, and, once again, a good story with good and highly challanging gameplay makes me want to play more.
So, I don't have a preference, as long as the game is gameplay focused and can really challange and entertain me. |
Im sure that if you are here you most likely enjoy older games.
i like the simplicity and the fact that you can see where new games get there ideas from. I also love the new games aswell. |
Mostly oldies for me. I'm nostalgic like that. I do play new games from time to time.
|
I seem to be able to enjoy quite a few games, whether old or new, just like movies, I seem to able to enjoy anything.
