More restrictive filtering

Ok. I'm trying to search for some (potential) interesting games.
But the filtering is pretty much a bitch.

Why?

Well. I'm trying the following filters.
All games ; Flight ; Sci-Fi.

So what does the system do?
It searches all games that fit Either the Flight filter OR the Sci-Fi filter. (Or both)

What Do I want?
Finding games that have BOTH the Flight tag AND the Sci-fi tag. (no or)

Is there a way to implement a more restrictive filtering to the system that would enable this type of searching?
(or are we out of luck due to limited site access?)

Yo Einstein. How do you think I'm searching with these said filters.

The problem IS that when you do use ctrl and select multiple filters, the system will search ALL games that comply to AT LEAST 1! of the selected filters (which makes the resulting list bigger then when you choose just 1 filter), instead of limiting the search to games that Comply to ALL of the filters (which is normal filter behavior).

I think that's actually one of those standard forum rules.

I've noticed this as well. It's obvious the search engine works with an OR string and not an AND string.

The problem is that not all games have the right tags. Since adding too many tags breaks the template for the webpage, usually only the main ones are selected so even if you DO find any results, there will be those that don't appear but would deserve to appear.

if we added "or" and "and" operators i think it would only confused the hell out of most users who are not used to them

anyways, it could be a nice feature but since we don't have access to the main page, asking for this new feature is like shouting into a cave full of rubber dongs (NO INNUENDO INTENDED)

Yeah, like it is for the theme, the perspective, the multiplayer and the year filter. The items of one filter follow the natural principle of OR. Stupid it is, but not abnormal.
